'Outlander' star Sam Heughan shares new picture from South Africa; Romann to share 'best ever present' details
“Outlander” star Sam Heughan has shared a new picture from Cape Town, South Africa, where filming for season 3 has been ongoing for a while now. Meanwhile, Romann Berrux has promised to share details about the “best ever present” that was given to him by his fellow cast members.
Heughan (Jamie) spears to be enjoying a break from filming in this new picture [see below] that he shared with the fans. The cast would have enjoyed this break especially because they have been busy doing some night shoots recently.
“Grateful Sundays!” the actor wrote in the post. None of the other cast members can be seen in the picture, so it isn’t clear who went along with the star on this break. Apart from Caitriona Balfe (Claire), César Domboy (Adult Fergus) and Lauren Lyle (Marsali) are also there in South Africa to film their respective scenes.
As Domboy steps into his important role in “Outlander” season 3, it is time for Berrux (Young Fergus) to say goodbye. Even though the actor has completed his portion of the work for the Starz show, he is in touch with the actors, especially Heughan and Balfe. The trio became good friends on the set while filming.
Berrux apparently received a gift from Heughan and Balfe, which is perhaps something he got on the last day of filming. The young actor called it “best ever present,” and promised to reveal it to the fans, but only after he reaches 30k followers on Twitter.
Commenting on Berrux’s post, Heughan asked if the present was good. The two cast members like to tease and have fun online.
Joining the conversation Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh Fraser) gave his support to Berrux. He did not mince words, which is just like his character on the Starz show, and said that his fellow cast member is in need of more followers. Lacroix told his fans to follow the young actor, and joked that we will never hear the end of it if Berrux doesn’t reach this milestone on Twitter.
Apart from Berrux, many of the other cast members of the Starz TV series have also completed their work for “Outlander” season 3. The filming in South Africa is set to wrap next month. The TV series will return in September. Starz is yet to announce the exact release date. A teaser trailer and pictures from the new season have already been released.
