Co-executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts has shared a new behind-the-scenes picture of John Bell (Young Ian) in full costume from the production set of “Outlander” season 4. Filming has wrapped, and the producer answered a few fan questions online.

Young Ian is a relatively new character, but Roberts feels that the fans will love him in the next season. Posting a picture of the actor on social media [see below], Roberts told the fans to get ready to “fall for this guy.”

Roberts also answered a few fan questions about the show [see below]. When asked about his favourite episode on the show, the producer said that he didn’t have any, but he teased that Caitriona Balfe (Claire) and Sam Heughan (Jamie) were “brilliant” throughout the filming of the season.

Richard Rankin (Roger) and Sophie Skelton (Brianna) have also done a good job, and the significance of these characters will increase this year. Roberts said that Rankin and Skelton will “blow folks away.” The producer is also “verra excited” about the new cast members.

There is one particular scene that the fans are looking forward to the most in season 4. This scene is just as important as the Print Shop scene of season 3. When asked to describe this particular scene in three words Roberts said “Good things come...”

After the filming was completed, there was a wrap party for the cast and crew. Roberts posted a picture of the party on Twitter. The producer was joined by Balfe and Heughan at the party. Production Designer Jon Gary Steele also went to the wrap party and posted a picture online [see below], which teased the theme of the party being disco.

It is not clear if Skelton joined the wrap party. She and Rankin appear to have finished their work before the others. Heughan decided to joke with his on-screen daughter by forbidding her to go to the party because she is not old enough [see below]
