A new still from “Outlander” season 4 has been released online. The picture teases Claire (Caitriona Balfe) delivering a baby, presumably in her new estate home in North Carolina.

Claire will continue to put her medical skills to good use in the next season. A new still from the next season that has been posted on the official Twitter page of the TV series [see below] shows the character smiling at a new born baby.

Jamie (Sam Heughan) and his wife will build a new home in North Carolina, a large estate that will house a few tenants. Claire will keep herself busy by helping people as a doctor, while her husband takes on the duties as the laird. The Sassenach should be busy delivering quite a few babies in the next season, judging by the events in Diana Gabaldon’s book “Drums of Autumn.” However, it remains to be seen what exactly will be taken from the source material for the TV adaptation.

“We stan one amazing healer,” the post on Twitter reads. In case readers are wondering who this baby Stan is, the baby may not be anyone significant on the show. The word stan here refers to an overzealous or obsessive fan of a celebrity.

With each passing day Droughlander is coming closer to an end. A few more teasers and trailers can be expected in the coming weeks, along with a promotion tour by the cast members. The TV series continues to grow from strength to strength each year, thanks to the support of the passionate fan base.

“Outlander” season 4 is set to premiere on Nov. 4. The plot is expected to pick up from the season 3 finale, with Jamie and Claire finding themselves on American shores after their shipwreck. They are yet to be reunited with Young Ian (John Bell), who has to choose between finding a way back home or making a living in the Brave New World.
