A new report speculates the plot and scenes of the premiere episode of “Outlander” Season 3. The scenes include the aftermath of the Battle of Culloden and flashbacks of Claire and Frank.

[Spoiler alert]

The next season of the popular Starz TV show is based on Diana Gabaldon’s third book in the series titled “Voyager.” A report on Outlander Online speculates some of the scenes and events in the premiere episode, based on the book. The report believes that the episode will begin with battlefield of Culloden, where Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) lies dead.

Jamie (Sam Heughan) is severally wounded and is barely alive. Later, a British Major, Lord Melton, arrives and announces that all the “traitors” are to be executed. One by one the Highlanders give their name and are taken out to be shot.

When it is Jamie’s turn, Lord Melton realises that this is Red Jamie who has a prince on his head. The young Scotsman is also the man who spared the life of Melton’s brother William Grey (Oscar Kennedy).

Although Jamie is supposed to die, he survives in the premiere episode of “Outlander” Season 3. Lord Melton sends the wounded warrior to Lallybroch, thinking that he will not be able to survive the journey. The British Major is, however, mistaken in his assessment.

In a flashback to 1940s Boston, there is tension between Frank (Tobias Menzies) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe). The two fight, but later reconcile. The report suggests that there could be a love making scene for the two characters; their first since Claire’s return.

The premiere episode of “Outlander” Season 3 could also have a scene of Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin) working together again. This time they may be seen researching about the legend of Leap O’ The Cask and the Dunbonnet, which Brianna believes is about Jamie.
