Cast member Romann Berrux got some free time after filming his scenes for “Outlander” Season 3. The young actor decided to use this time to explore Scotland, and even shared pictures of his trip with the fans online.

Berrux (Fergus) spent some time in the quite little town of Lochgilphead in Scotland. The actor visited the harbour and took some pictures, which he posted online. He described it as a “wonderful place.”

Filming of the popular Starz TV series began a while back, but Berrux started to film his scenes only in October. He shared a picture online when he first returned to Scotland earlier this month. He said that it was “great” to be back in the country to begin working on his scenes.

There will be two versions of Fergus that the fans will get to see next year. While Berrux will be reprising his role as the young character, César Domboy will be playing the grown up version of Fergus in “Outlander” Season 3.

In a tweet, Domboy complemented Berrux for his portrayal of the young lovable character. In his reply, the young actor said that his character will stay in his heart. He also told Domboy that he is going to have amazing co-workers and “above all great fans.”

According to the official character description of grownup Fergus, he is a charming, devilishly handsome man with a strong sense of loyalty and decorum. He is the ultimate romantic, who falls in and out of love easily.

Perhaps the most important aspect of grown up Fergus in “Outlander” Season 3 is that his loyalty towards Jamie (Sam Heughan) has never wavered. He is still very much part of the Fraser clan, and will be seen standing by the Scottish warrior. However, he does long for lasting love and a permanent sense of belonging.
