Co-executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts took to Instagram for a quick Q&A about “Outlander” season 3. He shared another picture from South Africa, where filming for the Starz TV series is ongoing, and in the comments section chatted with the fans who are struggling with Droughtlander.

Replying to a fan question, Roberts teased “absolutely wonderful moments” in the next season. He also praised all those involved in the production, including the writers and actors, and said that everyone has delivered “out of this world performance.”

Roberts is keenly aware that many of the fans are eagerly waiting to watch the Print Shop scene. Perhaps the producer himself is just as eager, if not more, to see this scene too. He revealed that he had this scene on his mind the day they started working on the show for the first time, which was way back in 2012. At that time, Starz was yet to give the green light for the next season.

With years of thought going into the Print Shop scene in “Outlander” season 3, the fans can rest assured that the passionate producers are keen on getting this scene just right. The scene is from Diana Gabaldon’s book “Voyager” and marks an emotional reunion of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe).

The team will soon have to start the prep work for the next season. Roberts revealed that the writers room is getting a further expansion with new writers coming on board for season 4.

Roberts has written the script for two episodes in “Outlander” season 3, and co-wrote one with Toni Graphia. While the team had to deal with the unpredictable rain in Scotland, the producer revealed that the production problem they face in South Africa is the wind. The current filming is scheduled to wrap next month.
