There will be more sex scenes in “Outlander” Season 3, Caitriona Balfe revealed in a recent interview. This should come as good news for fans who complained about the drop in intimate scenes in the second season. However, not all fans are happy with just more sex this time around.

[Spoiler alert]

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Balfe (Claire) said that there will be more sex on the show next year when compared to the second season. However, the actress also said that her character will now be seen in Boston with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies). After the heartbreaking farewell to Jamie (Sam Heughan), Claire will shelve her romantic and sexual side for 20 years, according to the actress.

Still, there will be a lot of “other sex going on,” Balfe revealed. However, not all fans are happy about it. Reacting to Balfe’s comments one of the fans said that she is not interested in seeing sex between other characters in “Outlander” Season 3. The fan explained that that would just be sex, and not the love Jamie and Claire share.

Apart from more sex scenes, the fans are interested in the print shop scene. The scene is from Diana Gabaldon’s book “Voyager,” on which the next season is based. Balfe revealed that fans have requested her to not change a single line from the books while adapting it for the TV series.

Balfe said that they haven’t filmed the print shop scene yet, but assured the fans that the writers are well aware of the fact that the fans are very keen on this scene. Apart from this scene, the fans can also look forward to Jamie and his cave and more scenes related to Claire and Brianna (Sophie Skelton).

Meanwhile, a deleted scene from the second season has been released online. The intimate scene is between Jamie and Claire. The scene is a part of the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray that the fans can pick up right now, while they wait for “Outlander” Season 3.
