In a Q&A session with the fans, Co-Executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts teased that fans will cry in a major scene in “Outlander” Season 3. The first two seasons were packed with emotional scenes that moved the audience, now the producers are preparing for more.

After teasing a ton of behind-the-scenes photos online, Roberts decided to answer a few fan questions on his Twitter page recently. When one of the fans said that all the tears had been spent on Season 2 and there are no more left, Roberts asked the fan to hydrate for the next instalment.

One of the most emotional scenes of the next season is also Roberts’ favourite. When one of the fans asked him to tease his favourite scene in the form of a riddle, he said he wouldn’t put that in “print.”

The next season is based on Diana Gabaldon’s book “Voyager.” Fans who have already read the book will know about a certain Print Shop scene.

When a fan asked Roberts how much the Print Shop scene in “Outlander” Season 3 is going to make everyone cry. The producer said that he is not sure, but joked that there may not be enough tissue in the whole world for this scene.

The producers have managed to move the fans to tears in many scenes in the past. When one fan asked if Roberts cried any time writing a scene, the producer recalled the time he dropped his computer on his foot, which apparently hurt a lot. While he may not have cried while writing the script, he later confirmed that he did get “welled up a few times” while watching the show.

Roberts also shared a few behind the scenes pictures on his Instagram page. The producer revealed that the team is almost done with Block 2 of “Outlander” Season 3 and will soon begin with Block 3. Each block consists of two episodes.
