Starz has released a new video for April to tease fans about the upcoming programmes it has ready for the fans, including “Outlander” season 3. Three scenes from the show created by Ronald D Moore are featured in this preview compilation. Meanwhile, more behind-the-scenes pictures from the production set have also been released online. The following article contains spoilers.

Fans of the popular TV series know that they are in for a major battle in the premiere episode. The final battle between the Highlanders and the British is set to take place now in the story, with Jamie (Sam Heughan) also taking part.

A set of pictures from the first episode that have already been released online showed Jamie faceoff against Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). Now, in a new video, Starz teases a scene from the battle. Twenty-six seconds into the video, Jamie looks at someone in the heat of the battle. Is this the scene just before the highly anticipated fight between the Scotsman and his nemesis?

While Jamie will be busy fighting in the Battle of Culloden in “Outlander” season 3 premiere episode, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be shown living in Boston, from the time she just arrived from Scotland with her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies).

Frank and Claire will welcome a daughter into their family. A scene from the hospital can be seen 42 seconds into the video. The Sassenach is overwhelmed with emotion in this scene and is quite happy.

Although Claire is heartbroken about losing the love of her life, the episodes leading up to the big reunion scene will not be all about heartache and sadness. There are moments of joy, as she attempts to rekindle the love with Frank. The two also share a kiss in the preview video, at 56 seconds.

Meanwhile, more pictures from the set have been released online. The first one is by author Diana Gabaldon, who visited the set in Cape Town, South Africa. The ship being used for filming can be seen from the road to the set. Co-executive producer Matthew B Roberts also shared pictures of the ship. The first picture is that of the wheel at the helm and the other shows the bow of the ship.

Co-executive producer Maril Davis also shared a picture from the set that was taken by Roberts. She thanked the crew of “Black Sails,” which is another original show by Starz that came to an end recently. The ship being used for “Outlander” season 3 is from that other TV series.
