To help fans to get through Droughtlander, co-executive producer Maril Davis has teased a dialogue from “Outlander” season 3 set in Scotland. Meanwhile, producer/writer Matthew B Roberts shared a picture of a clapper that was given to him as a gift on the last day of filming.

Davis is known for sharing teasers from time to time with her “heard on set” posts on Twitter. It has been a while since the producer shared something like that but in her new post she said that it’s better to be late than never.

“Seems I am indebted to you yet again for saving my life,” is the dialogue heard from the set. If there is any confusion about whether this was something that was just said on the set, or if it is a part of the TV series; the producer clarified by confirming that this dialogue is a part of the script.

Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) have come to each other’s rescue multiple times in the past, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if it was one of them saying this in “Outlander” season 3. There are a couple of new characters that will be introduced this year. In a span of 20 years of living apart, it is possible the Scotsman and the Sassenach have saved the lives of many others, including those they may now consider to be friends.

Meanwhile, Roberts shared a picture of the gift that was given to him by the crew members on the last day of filming in Scotland. The gift is a clapperboard that is used to identify which scene is being filmed, which comes in handy during the editing phase.

Roberts described the clapperboard as the “best gift ever” and has placed it on the wall at his office. The producer thanked the crew members, and said that it means the world to him. The clapper was used by the second unit of production.

To help the fans get through Droughtlander, Roberts too has been sharing updates from time to time. The producer has been sharing pictures from the set. The pictures are not of the cast and crew or the filming of the show but they show the scenic beauty of the locations where filming takes place.

With filming in Scotland wrapped, the team is ready to move to South Africa to continue “Outlander” season 3 production. They will be filming the sea voyage and scenes related to Jamaica there.
