The infamous villain Black Jack Randall will be back in “Outlander” Season 2 episode 12. Meanwhile, Jamie will come up with a “surprise attack” plan to defeat the enemy “once and for all.”

[Spoiler alert]

The Battle of Culloden is just three days away, a concerned Claire (Caitriona Balfe) remarks in a preview video of the next episode. Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) is keenly aware that the date of the battle is 16th of April. The Frasers fought hard to stop the rebellion from happening and save the Highlander culture. Having failed at preventing it, they now strive to gain victory.

While Claire is busy worrying about the future, she will once again come face to face with Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). Jamie (Sam Heughan) had previously dueled with the villain and would have killed him too, if not for the interference of French troops.

Jamie had promised his wife that he would not kill Black Jack, until the villain gets married. This was Claire’s way of ensuring that her husband in the future - Frank, who is a descendant of Jack, continues to live.

Meanwhile, Jamie will come up with a plan to defeat the enemy in the next episode of “Outlander” Season 2. He is back at Prince Charles’ (Andrew Gower) side. Dougal (Graham McTavish) will also be back with the Jacobite Army.

Jamie suggests another “surprise attack,” after tasting success in their first major battle that had a similar strategy. The young Scottish warrior plans to “trap” the British army between two of his forces. He had previously suggested they avoid any encounter and head straight to London.

There are three armies between the Jacobite Army and London. Will Jamie’s plan take them towards the Battle of Culloden? The premiere episode of “Outlander” Season 2 revealed that the Scottish army lost the war, despite the best efforts of the Frasers.
