Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) will be travelling to France together in the next season of the popular TV series. The three characters will be seen in a whole new set of costumes while they are in France.

A picture posted on Twitter shows Lacroix with his hair combed back and wearing his new costume. The character has been a loyal companion and friend to Jamie.

Meanwhile, a report by Scotland Now reveals that the TV series has helped fuel a “renaissance” of the Gaelic language. Jamie, Murtagh and some of the other characters on the show are often seen speaking Gaelic and this has got the fans interested in learning the language.

In preparation for “Outlander” Season 2, some of the fans are going online to learn Gaelic by watching “Speak Outlander” videos that have been posted on the YouTube channel of Starz.

Gaelic expert Adhamh O Broin, who is a consultant for the show, appears in these videos and helps the viewers learn some of the words. The expert appears in each of these videos to help with the pronunciation of the words and he also explains their meaning.

Some of the cast members of the TV series also appear in these videos to keep the viewers entertained, while at the same time helping them to learn to speak the words. Some of the words that fans get to learn by watching the videos are “Sassenach” and “Mo nighean donn.”

Fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere of “Outlander” Season 2. The producers are expected to announce the exact release date of the next season soon. The show is expected to air sometime in March or April.
