“Outlander” fans will soon be able to buy fabrics inspired by the popular TV series. The collection will be launched in October, and will include pictures of the main cast members Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies.

Andover Fabrics has announced the launch of its “Outlander” collection by Kathy Hall, Culturess reports. The collection includes 23 designs inspired by the show. There are also six free quilt designs for quilters who are interested in creating their own masterpiece.

The fabrics come with three images from the Starz TV series. The first picture has Claire (Cairiona Balfe) in the focus, with black and white images of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Frank (Tobias Menzies) in the background. The second picture is of the magical stones of Craigh Na Dun that allow the protagonist on the show to travel through time.

The third picture is that of Claire running towards Jamie, while Frank’s hand can be seen reaching for his wife. Black Jack is missing in these pictures.

The costumes in “Outlander” have been designed by Terry Dresbach, wife of Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore. The costumes have won high praise for both the first and the second season.

The first season was about Claire travelling back in time from 1945 to 1743 Scotland. The costumes were mostly 18th century garments that included kilts. The second season took the main character to France, where they got to wear extravagant clothes that were made of silk and other fabrics in different colours.

Filming for “Outlander” Season 3 has already begun. The show will once again showcase the costumes of different time periods, as Claire prepares to journey back in time once again. The main characters are set to travel to Jamaica this time around and later to the US, so the viewers can expect new characters and new costume designs.
