Best Supporting Actress winner, Anne Hathaway, seems to be apologetic towards her choice to dump designer, Valentino, over a pink Prada number that landed her in the worst dressed list.

It has always been expected that classy actress, Anne Hathaway, chooses Valentino gowns for her red carpet appearances. But for the recently-held Academy Awards, the Les Miserables actress arrived in an unflattering pink Prada gown that made her nipples visibly perk up.

It was reported that Hathaway chose the Prada dress because her original Valentino choice looked similar to co-star, Amanda Seyfried's Alexander McQueen dress. Both the dresses had floral embroidery and similar sheer layering, making Hathaway undecided until 3 hours before the red carpet arrivals.

The actress spoke about her Prada-choosing decision and told that she feels sorry and "pressured" for having to abandon her go-to couture designer. In a separate report, she blames her busy schedule for not being able to coordinate with her stylist the best way she can.

"Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused." explains Hathaway in a report posted by SF Gate.

Meanwhile, the actress remains positive despite fan and critic comments about her dress and acting.

"It does get to me. But you have to remember in life that there's a positive to every negative and a negative to every positive" told the actress to US Weekly.

Hathaway's positivity prevailed when she delivered her Oscar acceptance speech as well.

"I live my life with love. I live my life with compassion. I live my life hoping the best for absolutely everyone, no matter how they feel about me. And when you live that way, it's amazing how beautiful every day can be." proudly says the actress.
