While everyone is feasting their eyes on fashion, let's take a look on who rocked (or not) their manes on the Oscars red carpet.

First on the list of best hair are the stars who sported the effortlessly chic loose up-do, like Amy Adams, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lawrence. The hairstyle definitely complemented their overall look, that everyone just couldn't take their eyes off them as soon as they entered the red carpet.

Next is the stunning Jessica Chastain who sure knows Hollywood glamour, as she went for soft waves and sexy red lips.

Jennifer Aniston also wore her hair down (well, like she usually does) and looked carefree and flawless. However, critics slammed the actress' look, saying it was 'boring' and that she 'could've done better.'

Another actress slammed by critics on Twitter was Twilight superstar Kristen Stewart. Kstew arrived at the Oscars limping, with a few reported bruises on her left arm. The actress appeared bored and disheveled, her long brunette hair looking a little bit stringy for the glamourous night.

Meanwhile, short hair equally made a mark in the red carpet, as stars like Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry went for the versatile do.

After months of shaving her head for a role in an upcoming movie, Theron rocked a pixie cut for the big night. It was her most striking feature when she strutted the red carpet, despite donning awhite peplum Dior gown and diamond accessories.

Giuliana Rancic also debuted a 'shorter' do from her usual long locks. The E! host sported a new shoulder-length look at the Oscars, which made her looked fresh and definitely healthy.
