"I'm pushing for a Pacquaio fight," De La Hoya told The Guardian. "And I'm also pushing for a Mayweather fight."

De La Hoya has nothing but nice words to say about the Bolton-born boxer, who is slated to face Devon Alexander in Las Vegas on Dec. 13. According to De La Hoya, Khan is a great puncher with serious punching speed. He added that Khan is exciting, who comes to fight to please the boxing fans.

Lots of people are a big fan of boxing. They are even willing to pay huge amounts of money just to see the fight. De La Hoya thinks that Khan is one of the fighters whom boxing fans love to see fight in the ring.

De La Hoya said that Khan is just starting out. He said that the British boxer still has a number of fights in him. He said that Khan is still "growing and learning," but he is already on his way to developing more advanced level skills in boxing. De La Hoya also revealed that Khan has a lot of fire in him. In boxing, which is considered as one of the most historical and popular sports of all time, De La Hoya has no doubt that Khan has what it takes to become one of the best pound-for-pound fighters. However, De La Hoya feels that Khan first needs to prove himself against Alexander on Dec. 13.

Richard Schaefer also has the same opinion as the De La Hoya's. Schaefer believes that Khan deserves a fight with Mayweather and Pacquiao.
