'The Originals' Season 3 spoilers: Premiere episode sneak peek video teases Davina vs. Marcel [WATCH]

There will be changes in “The Originals” Season 3 starting with Davina Claire (Danielle Campbell) and her relationship with the vampire community. A sneak peek video of “The Originals” Season 3 premiere episode titled “For the Next Millennium” teased how becoming the new Regent of the New Orleans witch community has changed Davina, as well as the conflict Davina will have with her adoptive father, vampire Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis). [Spoiler Alert!]

ET Online has the exclusive sneak peek video that features the developing conflict between allies Davina and Marcel. According to the premiere episode’s synopsis, Marcel has found a new strategy in recruiting vampires after regaining control of the French Quarter.

Marcel wants to try the new strategy, but Davina will make a decision that places her and Marcel on the opposite sides of a growing conflict between the vampire and witch community in New Orleans. In the sneak peek video, Marcel wants Davina to just listen to what he has to say.

Davina firmly says no and explains that witches do not do favours for vampires, including the creation of daylight rings, because there are rules. Marcel argues that an act of good faith can maintain the peace between the two supernatural forces of the town.

However, Davina still refused to listen to Marcel. The new Regent tells Marcel that the ninth ward witch coven thinks she is a vampire sympathizer, so she will not prove them right.

“You're on your own,” Davina tells Marcel before walking away and leaving the vampire speechless and upset with the new attitude of the young witch that he cares about. Aside from the sired vampires, Davina is expected to be another enemy of the Mikaelson siblings.

Davina has always hated Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan). In the previous season, Davina felt betrayed when Original vampires Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) ruined her plan of resurrecting her new love interest, Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic/Daniel Sharman).

Find out if Davina will remain firm with her decision or the new Regent or if she will have a change of heart and agree to peacefully co-exist with the vampires in “The Originals” Season 3. The premiere episode “For the Next Millennium” is scheduled to air on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
