'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Klaus To Confront Kol About Rebekah's Body Swap, Vincent On Hell Bent Revenge In Episode 10 Titled 'Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire'
The CW Network has released the synopsis for the upcoming new episode of "The Originals" Season 2 where the conflict between the Mikaelson family members intensifies. In "The Originals" Season 2, episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire," the search for Rebekah will begin and Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) will work on his revenge plans against the vampires and werewolves in New Orleans.
In the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments," the cliffhanger scenes in the CW spinoff series include Esther's (Sonja Sohn) transition into a vampire, Finn telling Cami (Leah Pipes) about his plan to seek revenge against his enemies and Rebekah's (Claire Holt) body jump. The upcoming episode's synopsis in a Carter Matt report teased that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be confronting Kol (Daniel Sharman) about their sister's whereabouts after Elijah (Daniel Gillies) noticed that she failed to show up at the Mikaelson safe house.
Actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers got introduced in the ending scene of the mid-season finale episode as the new body that Rebekah Mikaelson jumped into. Additionally, the upcoming episode will have the return of Cassie (Natalie Dreyfuss), Esther's former body suit, as Rebekah turns to the young witch for help when she finds herself locked up in a New Orleans mansion.
With Finn hell bent on revenge, the episode synopsis teased that Klaus will be protecting Cami. The Original hybrid will take Cami to the Mikaelson safe house before returning to the compound with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). Meanwhile, Hayley and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) come up with a plan that could bring the vampires and werewolves together and finally have a truce.
However, the tensions between the two supernatural creatures will escalate when Finn puts on a spell on the compound where the two sides are trapped together. It is still unknown when Aussie actress Claire Holt returns on the show as Rebekah Mikaelson but the character will still be around in the second half of the new season where she, Klaus and Elijah fight off the other Mikaelson family members plotting against them.
"The Originals" Season 2 will return with episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire" on Monday night, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
