It looks like Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will be the ones taking care and protecting Hope Mikaelson in the second half of "The Originals" Season 2 because of aunt Rebekah's (Claire Holt) new body dilemma. Executive producer Michael Narducci teased that the upcoming episodes will explore on Hope being a completely unique child.

According to a TV Line spoiler report, the fans will get to see more of baby Hope Mikaelson now that she is reunited with her parents. The storyline on Hope will include as well the powers that the child might have.

"We want to explore what makes the child of Klaus, a hybrid, and Hayley, a werewolf, completely different from any other child on this planet," executive producer Michael Narducci revealed. The executive producer further teased that the fans will begin to see certain signs of how Hope Mikaelson is completely unique. "Subtle at first, then maybe not-so-subtle," Narducci shared.

A Wet Paint report noted down that the upcoming episodes will be interesting because Klaus and Hayley's protective side will come out when it comes to their hybrid daughter. Another storyline that will trouble Hope's parents is the curse that aunt Dahlia (Kristin Erickson) placed on her sister Esther's (Hayley McCarthy) family line in the flashback scenes of "The Originals" Season 2, episode 6 titled "Wheel Inside the Wheel."

Aside from aunt Dahlia, Klaus must also protect his daughter from his other enemies like his vampire hunter father Mikael (Sebastian Roché), his brother Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) and his other brother Kol (Daniel Sharman), who has been teaming up with Davina (Danielle Campbell) in creating a dagger that can be used against the Original hybrid. As for Esther (Sonja Sohn), Klaus left his mother, who is in transition, to decide her fate which is to become the thing that she hates the most or die in the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments."

With Rebekah now unable to keep Hope safe, it is Klaus' duty to make sure that his enemies will not find out about baby Hope being alive so they will not use his daughter to get back at him. Expect more Mikaelson family conflict when "The Originals" Season 2 returns on Jan. 19, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW Network.
