Avant-garde California makeup brand Urban Decay has roped in “Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose as the face of its brand. The androgynous model and DJ is also the face of Maybelline New York in Australia.

Urban Decay unveiled Rose’s campaign with a billboard in New York, with the brand stocked in Mecca Cosmetica stores Down Under. According to Vogue, Rose’s new job title is Urban Decay’s Most Addictive Vice. As founder Wendy Zomnir puts it, Rose will be “rocking our world and spreading the gospel of our self-expression, addiction to color, and ‘beauty with an edge.’”

Rose was particular chosen as the face of this brand not only for her unconventional looks but also for her free spiritedness and devil-may-care attitude.

The 29-year-old Aussie announced the news on Instagram.

“Always wanted a billboard in NY!! Thanks for making my dream come true @urbandecaycosmetics ... People are going to freak out when they see what we have coming!!” Rose captioned a photo.

“Urban Decay believes in supporting individuality and personal self-expression— two values I hold very dear— because everyone deserves the freedom to explore their personality and discover their true selves,” said Rose in a statement.

Rose has simply teased her fans stating they will “freak out” when they see what’s coming. However, no word is out on whether she would be appearing in ads or partnering on products. Even founder Zomnir chose to tease in line with Rose’s comments.

“Better things come to those who wait,” he said. “Just give it time.”

Rose has been winning hearts with her sweet messages. On one occasion, she wrote a lovely birthday message for her close friend Ellen Page who helped her out during tough times. While in another, she only had praises for Hollywood celebrity Vin Diesel, with whom she would be appearing in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”

In a photo where Rose is seen cuddling Diesel, she only had the sweetest words for the “Fast & Furious” star. She apparently even fell asleep on his chest while waiting on set the night before.
