Australia's Optus has just launched its newest set of data plans for its consumers. Optus now offers two new features for its users, which are the "Premium My Plan Plus" and the "My Plan Suite." These plans allow customers to use up to 100GB and 30GB of data monthly respectively.

The Premium My Plan Plus allows customers access to 100GB of data for $160 per month. This amounts to a minimum cost of $3,840 for two years. Meanwhile, the My Plan Plus affords customers 30GB of data monthly for $130. This amounts to a total of $3,120 over two years.

Tim Cowan, Optus's Vice President of Mobile Products, said that the company is the first to "launch plans that removed excess data fees." He said that this is part of the company's mission to provide the "best possible value" for its customers.

"Now, we’re raising the stakes again by giving customers even more value – more data, more roaming and data-free entertainment," he said.

Small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Australia can also avail Optus' new Premium $160 and $130 My Plan Business plans. According to the Optus press release, SMBs that sign up for these plans for 24 months have special bonuses.

Bonuses include streaming from services such as Google Play Music, iHeartRadio, Netflix, Pandora and Spotify without using any of the available data from the plan. Another bonus is unlimited access to standard national and international roaming talk and texting monthly.

Premium $160 My Plan Plus/Business subscribers will get 1.5GB of included monthly roaming data. Meanwhile, those with the $130 My Plan Plus/Business will also have an included 1GB of roaming data to use in selected countries monthly.

SMB owners also have the option to get a new phone after 12 months. This is done by visiting a local Yes Optus store to get a new 24-month plan. They simply have to return their current phone in good working condition and pay a one-off $99 fee.

Australia's Optus will also allow customers the chance to try its network for 30 days before deciding if they want to sign up for the new Premium My Plan Plus and My Plan Suite. Customers who choose not to avail a plan can cancel without fees.
