Highly influential talk-show host Oprah Winfrey left her fans awestruck this week after she stepped out and showed off her new slender figure.

The 62-year-old TV mogul was sizzling hot at the red carpet premiere of her network’s new original drama series titled “Queen Sugar.” Winfrey looked absolutely smashing with a form-fitting black dress paired with peep-toe pumps, a sleek ponytail and a pair of statement glasses.

It’s been almost a year since Winfrey signed up to be the spokesperson and a shareholder in diet giant Weight Watchers. As soon as she announced her buy-in, the company’s stocks went soaring. Part of the acquisition deal was for Oprah to use the mobile app of Weight Watchers, work with a coach from the company and make appearances on its behalf.

While she hasn’t revealed her total weight loss since undergoing the Weight Watchers program, it would be remembered that she lost 26 lbs in January this year. It was a life-changing experience for the celebrity icon, who has battled with the bulge in front of millions of her fans. "I don't feel like I'm on a diet that I'm ever going to go off again," she told People. "I feel like I'll be counting points for the rest of my life."

Winfrey also revealed that the effects of her amazing slim-down were being felt by her longtime partner, Stedman Graham. "I would like him to pick me up and carry me to the pool," she told People. "I've lost enough weight, he can pick me up and carry me to the pool. I can straddle him without breaking his back."

She walked on the red carpet with Ava DuVernay, co-creator of “Queen Sugar.” Winfrey gushed about partnering with somebody whom she considers as an incredible talent. “You're going to see her rise and rise and rise," Winfrey promised. "Her future's so bright it is burning our eyes already."

“Queen Sugar, ” an upcoming drama series, follows the life of two sisters, Nova Bordelon (Rutina Wesley), a formidable journalist and activist from New Orleans, and Charley Bordelon (Dawn-Lyen Gardner), a modern woman with a teenage son. The series, based on the novel of the same name by Natalie Baszile is scheduled to air on Oprah Winfrey Network and on Sep. 6, 2016. Even before its premiere, “Queen Sugar” was already renewed for a second season.
