OnePlus 3 was praised for its power-packed performance and now the mobile maker is reportedly working on OnePlus 4 that is expected to give Samsung and Apple some serious competition. It will go head-to-head with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel and Pixel XL and Apple iPhone 8.

Flagships from top tech companies could be sporting dual-edge curved displays and iPhone 8 could have an all-glass display. Hence, OnePlus 4 would also be looking to wow its fans with some unique features and specs. As per The Bitbag, the OnePlus 4 may be coming with an OLED pressure-sensitive display.

The upcoming handset from OnePlus could also be having a modular design allowing users to connect different modules to it. OnePlus 4 is expected to be released in two variants, 6GB and 8GB. It may have a Quad HD display and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor.

OnePlus 4 will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat, have a 256GB internal storage, 4,000 mAh battery supporting wireless charging and either a 21 or 23MP rear camera. The rumoured fingerprint scanner may also be included.

As the OnePlus 3 was launched in June this year, tech experts expect the OnePlus 4 to be released in the second quarter of 2017. As regards the price, OnePlus 4 variants may cost anything between US$399 (AU$520) to US$449 (AU$590).

If these specs are included in OnePlus 4, it will be equipped to handle any onslaught by top players i the mobile market. The handset can easily become the strongest opponent to the Apple iPhone 7. OnePlus will be looking to capitalise on the recent Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall fiasco, writes TechPlz.
