OnePlus is moving on from its OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handsets and is reportedly focusing on their next smartphone that may be called OnePlus 4. A new set of leaks suggest that the handset will have a glass body and a 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The OnePlus 4 flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor and 8GB RAM. Its internal storage capacity could be 128GB, writes AndroidPure. The flagship is expected to launch in June or July 2017 and may have a mega 4,000 mAh battery. As per a Weibo leak, the OnePlus 4 smartphone will have a dual-camera setup with AR and MR capabilities.

It is still unknown what camera sensors the company will use for its OnePlus 4 smartphone. Some suggest that the phone could be released in two variants with a different set of specs such as 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 chipset and 5.5-inch display, though this seems unlikely.

The OnePlus 3 smarthpone launched in June. Hence, many believe, the OnePlus 4 will launch same time next year, writes MobiPicker. An OxygenOS is also expected in the smartphone. As per India Today , OnePlus 4 may hit shelves with the OxygenOS that will be based on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Wireless charging feature will also be included.

The Snapdragon 830 chipset will seriously boost the device’s performance. Even though details about OnePlus 4 are very sketchy at the moment, it is very much possible that the company has already started working on this phone.

The OnePlus 4 may also feature an LCD panel and not an Optic OLED display unit. Tech experts are speculating that the handset will be priced at around US$400 (AU$520).
