Latest reports suggest that the OnePlus 4 handset will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset and OxygenOS. Apart from these, the smartphone is speculated to sport some awesome specs and features.

Release date rumours about OnePlus 4 suggest that the smartphone could be released in July 2017 although the handset maker has not revealed anything official on the specs and release date of the device.

As per Tech Times, the superfast Snapdragon processor will be clocked at 3GHz. The OnePlus 4 phone could sport an 8GB RAM along with an Adreno 620 GPU and 128GB internal memory. Some sources have also mentioned a massive 4,200 mAh battery for the handset.

A 5.5-inch big display will support 2K resolution. The primary camera is expected to be of 24MP whereas the secondary camera may be of 8MP. As per India Today, OnePlus 4 may hit shelves with the OxygenOS that will be based on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Wireless charging feature will also be included.

The Snapdragon 830 chipset will help in improved overall performance of OnePlus 4 and better battery performance. Currently, details of the OnePlus 4 smartphone are very sketchy. However, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s words, the company will be focusing on one mobile phone every year.

“Smartphone market is very crowded so we have to create a product that cuts through the clutter. The only way for us to do that is to focus on it and obsess about its details,” Pei told India Today in August.

The 5.5-inch screen in OnePlus 4 is expected to have a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The phone may also feature an LCD panel and not an Optic OLED display unit. Tech experts are speculating that the handset will be priced at around US$400 (AU$520).
