OnePlus is heavily pegged to announce OnePlus 3 in the next month. Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus has revealed hinted through a tweet that the company may not use invitation processor for selling OnePlus 3.

In an interview with CNET earlier this year, Pei revealed several information of its 2016 flagship smartphone. He confirmed that the company will provide a better purchasing process to its customers.

In the previous years, OnePlus received payments only through PayPal. However, in this year, Pei has confirmed that the company will accept payments through credit cards. The firm is yet to confirm whether it will continue to adhere to invitation system for buying OnePlus 3. Pei’s new tweet indicates the invitation system will be scrapped this year.

Pei has stated that the like the OnePlus One, this year’s flagship will boast a captivating appeal. Even Pete Lau, the CEO of the company, has posted on Weibo, a Chinese social networking site, that OnePlus 3 feels good to hold.

Recently, Evan Blass, the popular leakster had revealed a press render of OnePlus 3 on Twitter. Instead of Sandstone back panel, the smartphone sports a metal case that has a matte finish. Like the HTC 10, the OnePlus 3 rear panel bears antenna lines on the top and bottom portions. Since Pei has confirmed that design of OnePlus 3 will be different from that of predecessor models, the smartphone bears repositioned speakers, camera flash and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Blass’s tweet states that the OnePlus 3 will be equipped with an AMOLED screen and a 3000 mAh battery. Previous speculations have indicated that the OnePlus 3 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and it will be available in two storage models of 32 GB and 64 GB.

Speculations suggest that 32 GB OnePlus 3 will feature 4 GB of RAM and it will cost $310 (AU$429. The 64 GB OnePlus 3 is speculated to be priced at $385 (AU$533) and this variant is rumoured to come with 6 GB of RAM.
