Being a victim of cyber bullying, One Direction member Zayn Malik had shortly deactivated his Twitter last August. However, because the pull of the virtual social networking society is far too strong, Zayn had reactivated his Twitter in a matter of 24-hours.

Malik had admitted he was too addicted to Twitter and it's not surprising given there are a few other celebrities also obsessed with the social networking site.

It isn't surprising to be pretty popular on the web given the status quo and the extreme good-looks for Zayn Malik. Given Malik is the member of the popular boy band, being on Twitter gives fans an all out-extreme connection with Malik's life by the minute. Thankfully, Zayn is also addicted to the site and that he too loves to continuously update his status by the minute.

"I do get carried away with trying to answer people, Twitter is too addictive," explains Zayn, adding, "I'd take food, a good supply of water and maybe a decent phone that could get me on Twitter, then being stuck on the island I'd have enough time to answer everyone who Tweets me!"

Though Zayn isn't the first One Direction member to get hooked on Twitter, Niall Horan and Harry Styles are two other members addicted to the "Tweets." Both Niall and Harry have been openly flirting using their Twitter accounts making them as "addicted" as Zayn.

Another celebrity who has been tweeting non-stop is none other than teen queen, Miley Cyrus. The wife-to-be to "Hunger Games" hunk Liam Hemsworth has been tweeting non-stop over the past few months. From cute puppy dogs to new hairstyles to music and movies, fans of Miley Cyrus can greatly depend on the social media site, Twitter for minute-to-minute updates.

Other celebrities who also have the Twitter bug include Canadian crooners, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen who surprisingly have the most number of followers on Twitter as well. "Fame Monster" Lady Gaga, "Bad Girl" Rihanna and "Part of Me" Katy Perry is three other songstress' hooked on the blue bird. Country crooner, Taylor Swift is also one other Hollywood celebrity hooked on Twitter.
