One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer fans are embroiled in a huge fight on Twitter. According to 5SOS fans, One Direction is making money of the Aussie band's' success. In addition, the fans of 5SOS have started the trend "Replace Louis with Luke" on Twitter prompting even more hate.

While the boys of 1D and 5SOS are all good friends, their fans aren't exactly on the same page. The feud between the fandoms allegedly started with reports that One Direction is making money off 5 Seconds of Summer. According to reports, members of 1D are directors of the company that had registered the 5SOS trademark thus they own 50% stake in profits plus 10% share in the company.

The feud has gotten worse thanks to 5SOS fans starting the trend "Replace Louis with Luke" on Twitter. For those who don't know the details, Louis Tomlinson is of the British boy band One Direction while Luke Hemmings is part of the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer. With the feud going on a rampage, Ashton Irwin of 5SOS has spoken up on Twitter.

"i hate seeing the 1D and the 5SOS fandom not getting along sometimes because i am a part of both.. you guys should love each other, we are bands that do our best to be your escape, and as bands we are friends, don't fight!'" stated Irwin.

Hopefully, Ashton's statement is enough to make the fans of both sides call it a truce. The boys of One Direction are yet to speak up on the feud given their a bit too busy with their next album. According to a report by MTV, 1D's next album is set to be a "little bit more edgy."

"I think it's going to be a little bit more edgy. But obviously we feel like we've got some really good songs and we are happy," stated Niall to Carson Daly on the "Today" show to which Liam added, "We've all taken a hand in the writing this time. And we've literally written almost every song."

With a new album to look forward to, "Directioners" should focus on this upcoming release rather than on the feud with 5SOS fans.
