The Onda tablet sports an aluminum body with 9.7 inch-display and it seems that it has also imitated the impressive 2048x1536 pixels resolution display of the iPad Air 2. The new device is powered by a 64-bit Intel quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable for up to 128GB with its microSD support, Techno Buffalo reports.

The tablet is equipped with a rear and front-facing camera which has a capacity of 5-megapixels and 2-megapixels, respectively. The Onda V919 is also 3G enabled which supports WCDMA bands and this feature also enables its user to execute calls while browsing the web using the tablet.

The Onda V919 3G Air looks exactly like the iPad Air 2 but it doesn't run on iOS like Apple's flagship phones and tablets. The most interesting information about the Onda V919 3G is its alleged capability of dual-booting from Android 4.4 KitKat to Windows 8.1 and vice-versa in a single tap. The impressive dual-booting ability is made possible by some clever changes in its BIOS level.

Phone Arena has made a comparison on the system chip of Apple's iPad Air 2 and the Chinese-built Onda V919. Based on the review, the iPad Air 2 is boosted by the tri-core Apple A8 system chip giving the device 40 percent faster performance. The speed of the iPad Air 2 is said to be 2.5 times faster than its predecessor. On the other hand, its clone is powered by a 64-bit Intel Bay Trail-T Z3736F quad-core solution which boasts of up to 2.16GHz speed. Additionally, the Bay Trail chip enhances the tablets performance partnered with 2GB of RAM which gives the device the ability to multi-task.

Finally, the obvious price gap is another major difference between the Onda V919 3G Air and the iPad Air 2. The iPad Air 2 comes at a starting cost of US$499, while Onda's tablet can be ordered online for 1,199 Yuan or roughly around US$193. Now that's basically a fraction of the selling price of Apple's iPad Air 2.
