In a recent interview, the producers have revealed what exactly is an Untold Story and how that will be a part of Storybrooke in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6. The heroes will get involved with the new characters that have just arrived and Emma’s storyline will particularly be affected.

[Spoiler alert]

In the previous season Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) brought all the characters from Land of Untold Stories to Storybokke. But, what exactly is an Untold Story? Answering this question Executive Producer Edward Kitsis told TV Line that these are stories that haven’t yet played out. He revealed that a lot of people went to this place in order to put a “pause” in their life.

Co-executive Producer Adam Horowitz said that while the first season was about what happened to popular characters after their fairytales were finished; the plot this year is about what happens when popular characters don’t finish their story the way we know it.

There are different reasons why the new characters in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 want to pause their respective stories. For some of the characters the reason is “fear” and not wanting to face something, Kitsis revealed.

Now that they are in Storybrooke they can no longer keep their stories in pause. That is where the heroes will step in. Just as in the first season where the heroes got together to help individual characters to deal with their problems, the new season will be in similar lines. Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will be back in her role as the Saviour.

Emma will soon learn in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 that she is not the only Saviour. There have been others before her. Perhaps the most prominent hero to take on this role is Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), who is one of many new characters being introduced this year.
