"Emma isolates herself from loved ones to protect them as her powers grow uncontrollable, and she seeks help from Mr. Gold. Meanwhile, in the Arendelle of the past, the Snow Queen struggles to ignite a rivalry between Anna and Elsa," reads the Once Upon A Time Season 4, Episode 8 spoilers on TV.com.

"I thought it was so fun and dramatic and kind of just wonderful, like a sweeping, epic fantasy," Mitchell reviews this week's new episode in an interview with TVLine. Asked whether the Snow Queen would still treat Emma as family if she gives up her powers, Mitchell talks of two possible scenarios in the Ingrid-Emma story.

"[If Emma Swan loses her powers], (m)aybe [Ingrid] would [lose interest in Emma], or maybe she'd try to help her get them back," Mitchell told TVLine.

In an ABC preview for Once Upon A Time Season 4, Episode 8-9, Emma goes on a quest to lose her magic. Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) tells her she'll help him in one scene. Things do not look good, though, as Emma is unable to control her magic, which appears to have become volatile after the Snow Queen pushed Emma's buttons - her family issues.

Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) both realise in Episode 7 that they have inadvertently pushed Emma away when their fear of her magic became strikingly obvious. What happens next is Emma making a decision to take control, by losing her magic.

Mitchell told TVLine this week's new episodes will show how Ingrid got to Storybrooke and why everyone does not have any memory of her as Ingrid or the Snow Queen. She also says Once Upon A Time Season 4, Episodes 8-9 will tell more about the (formerly) Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla).

Once Upon A Time Season 4 seems to be wrapping up its "Frozen" storyline. Considering how the Season 3 episodes were delivered, OUAT is expected to be on hiatus after the first main story of the season, and it comes back in 2015 with a new big bad.

Once Upon A Time Season 4 airs Sundays on ABC.
