Once Upon a Time Costars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas’ Engagement Update: What will the Bride Wear? [PHOTOS]

Once upon a time, a beautiful princess named Snow White, a.k.a. Ginnifer Goodwin met dashing Prince Charming Josh Dallas in Storybrooke, Maine. They eventually fell in love, announced their engagement and now, a "royal" wedding is being planned.

An official wedding date is yet to be announced, but after Josh proposed to Ginnifer on October 8, 2013 in Los Angeles, California, the couple has been busy making plans for their upcoming wedding.

"We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon A Time." the couple said in a statement issued to People.com.

Ginnifer shared her joy on her official Twitter account:

Josh retweeted his future bride's message and then posted his own message:

Once Upon a Time fans were thrilled to hear the news as well, even causing the topic #CongratsJoshAndGinny to trend worldwide! One of their fans, Katrina Tan (@katmtan) informed them about it, again through Twitter.

Both Josh and Ginnifer were ecstatic about their engagement trending worldwide so they thanked Katrina.

Anyway, after the engagement, one of the most important things to do is to find what to wear on the big day.

Now, the bride is probably starting to look at wedding gown designs. Wonder what she'll wear? Will she choose a gown fit for a princess like this one?

Ginnifer, 35 and Josh, 31 met on the OUAT set and have reportedly been secretly dating since autumn 2011. They were first seen in public together as a couple in April 2012.

This will be Goodwin's 1^st marriage and Dallas' 2^nd. She almost got married to Josh Kern but broke it off on May 20, 2011. On the other hand, Dallas used to be married to actress Lara Pulver before their relationship fizzled in 2011. That was when Ginnifer and Josh started spending more time together and slowly fell in love with each other.

The couple's fairytale-like story is like art imitating life. In ABC's Once Upon a Time, Ginnifer plays Mary Margaret Blanchard, who is also Snow White in the fairy tale world. Josh plays David, Snow White's Prince Charming.

Like his character in the show, Josh fell in love with Ginnifer.

"It hit me like a blinding light. I thought, I'm in trouble now. I would like to think she felt exactly the same way." Josh said.

As cheesy as it sounds, it looks like fairytales do come true in real life after all. It literally came true for Josh and Ginnifer.
