The unseeded Hyeon Chung will face the monumental task of upsetting six-time champion Novak Djokovic on Monday in the fourth round of the 2018 Australian Open. Chung put the tennis world on notice on Friday when he beat World No. 4 Alexander Zverev 5-7, 7-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 in a third-round match at Melbourne Park.

Djokovic, the most successful Australian Open champion in the Open Era, entered the first Grand Slam of 2018 with prevailing injury woes. The Serb hadn't played any competitive tennis since the Wimbledon after skipping most of 2017 with an elbow injury. However, Djokovic is seemingly back to his best and a legitimate threat to tournament favourites Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

After a physically-draining 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, 6-3 victory over Frenchman Gael Monfils in the second round, Djokovic breezed past 21st seed Albert Ramos Vinolas in straight sets to book a berth in the Round of 8. A year ago, Djokovic was upset in the second round by world No. 117 Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan. It was the first time ever that Djokovic failed to reach at least the quarter-final stage at his favourite Grand Slam. The Serbian recently revealed that he had played through the elbow injury for the first half of 2017.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Hyeon Chung continues to build momentum since his victory at the inaugural Next Generation ATP Finals in November. Several reputed tennis analysts consider Chung as part of the next gen of stars that also includes Alexander Zverev, Nick Kyrgios, Andrey Rublev and Denis Shapovalov.

The humble Chung thanked his training team after pulling off the biggest win of his career on Saturday. "It was a really tough game against Alex Zverev. I'm just trying to play 100% and that was the key today. Training in Thailand, with my team -- they’re always with me in bad times, good times, and I’m so thankful. Today was a really tough match. I know he’s a really good player and we know how to play each other. I just tried to play 100 per cent," Chung said in his post-match interview. 2018 Australian Open live streaming, Novak Djokovic vs Hyeon Chung live streaming, Hyeon Chung live streaming and tennis live streaming info follows.
