Microsoft claims that the possibility of the Windows Phone and Xbox One integration will happen soon. The first device that would reportedly have such integration on connectivity is the Nokia Lumia 928 smart phone.

The connectivity details were not identified but Yusuf Mehdi of Microsoft implied that the company is working on the particular Windows Phone features to fuse some certain components. At present, the Nokia Lumia Windows Phone range already includes many Xbox-branded games and components.

Even though Microsoft did not officially announce the upcoming prospect, it does not mean that they will not shed any light on the topic. "Is there anything I can say? No. It doesn't mean there's nothing that's being worked on. There's some time between now and the delivery of Xbox One. It is true that the general idea of an increased seamlessness and integration across these elements is a goal," Greg Sullivan, Microsoft's senior marketing manager, revealed to PCMag.

Greg Sullivan further assured the device and gaming enthusiasts that he would offer up the Windows Phone as proof to vast collaboration possibilities. "Are we where we'll ultimately be? No, and we'll continue to improve it," Sullivan stated.

According to Microsoft, the Xbox One launch held on Tuesday was only the first part of their show, just like a preview of what's more to come. "We have so much goodness that there's no way we could have packed it all into one event," declared Aaron Greenberg, the Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Chief of Staff.

"The best way I can describe it is: We're really going to tell one story across two events," Greenberg further added. The continuation of Microsoft's exciting story is scheduled to take place during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, on June 10, 2013.
