A battery case accessory for the Nokia Lumia 1020 EOS was recently spotted at several tech Web sites ahead of the smartphone's anticipated launch on July 11 in New York City. Izvestia, the Russian newspaper, got hold of an image that shows the hybrid charger and snap-on battery case built-in with 1020mAh battery that can charge the 41MP device.

The battery can reportedly supply approximately 35% more power to the Nokia Lumia 1020 EOS provided that consumption of battery when capturing images and videos is expected to be high. The upcoming Windows Phone 8 handset that appeared at the FCC filing in June includes an additional camera grip feature indicated in the smartphone's accessory document.

According to the Izvestia report, the battery accessory develops the smartphone grip for one-handed use. The battery case design allows the users to comfortably fit the Nokia Lumia EOS in their palms as the case clips completely onto the Nokia Lumia EOS with a large hole designed for the PureView lens allowing the lossless digital zooming technology.

It has not yet been identified if the leaked battery case includes support for the wireless charging feature. However, it will contain a button for camera shutter, a tripod mount socket and a microUSB connector.

Furthermore, other reports claim that Nokia Lumia EOS will sport a look comparable to the Nokia Lumia 920 except for the huge rear camera assembly that fits the high-resolution sensor. The camera sensor can utilize a highly developed pixel-clustering technology, similar to the Nokia 808 PureView, where 5-8MP stills are produced with superior quality against rival smartphones.

The Finnish smartphone manufacturer is scheduled to officially unveil the 41MP Nokia Lumia 1020 EOS on July 11 after sending out the invitations with the teasing message that says "41 Million Reasons to Zoom In." The latest Microsoft stock note claims that the new Nokia Lumia device could be put up for sale in the market this July.
