HMD Global has launched two new feature phones, the Nokia 105 and Nokia 130. The refreshed 2017 versions boast of ergonomic designs and sport 1.8-inch colour displays. Both handsets come in single SIM and dual SIM variants.

Nokia has sold more than 200 million units of its two 105 series handsets. The company is sticking with the brand name for the third time as it is already a known moniker among feature phone users. Just like the previous models, the new handset features a long-lasting battery and a durable design, but now it’s also contemporarily ergonomic and more user-friendly thanks to a larger display and a new tactile island keypad.

The new Nokia 105 utilises a robust polycarbonate casing that can take the kinds of abuse that modern smartphones can’t withstand. Pre-installed games include “Snake Xenzia” and trial versions of “Doodle Jump” and “Crossy Road.” The single SIM variant can last up to 30 days of standby time and delivers up to 15 hours of talk time.

Meanwhile, the new Nokia 130 includes an external microSD card slot that is expandable up to 32 GB, which is enough storage for thousands of music files. Users can enjoy up to 44 hours of FM radio and close to 12 hours of video playback with its 1,020 mAh battery. It also has Bluetooth 3.0 for wireless listening freedom.

The second 130 series handset also comes with a VGA camera. And just like the new 105, it comes with a new island keypad, a tough polycarbonate shell and an LED torchlight. It also has “Snake Xenzia” along with five try-and-buy Gameloft games.

Not including taxes and subsidies, the Nokia 105 single SIM model retails at a global average price of US$14.50 (AU$18.40) while the dual SIM variant carries a US$15.00 (AU$19.00) tag. It comes in three colour options with matte finishes: black, white and blue. The Nokia 130 retails for an international average price of US$21.50 (AU$27.30) and is available in black, grey and red.
