Nintendo is set to expand the number of its amiibo line over the next few months with the addition of new characters, some of which pay tribute to retro gamers. The new amiibo will begin to roll out next month, the company announced recently.

The first amiibo launching on October 23 will be from the “Super Smash Bros.” DLC character Mewtwo, Eurogamer reported. For now, only the UK release date of the game has been announced, with no word yet as to its North American release. The report added that other DLC-based amiibo figurines are on their way again, specifically for Ryu and Lucas.

Nintendo has listed a number of release dates for a couple of amiibo figures, including Bowser Jr. (with Koopa Clown Car), Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar and Zero Suit Samus. All of these will be joining the list of North American amiibo roster on September 11. Along with them is a special Mario figure for the 30th anniversary of “Super Mario Bros.” The limited edition 8-bit Mario will also be available on September 11, along with the launch of “Super Mario Maker.” The five other figures will work on “Super Smash Bros.” for Wii U and 3DS.

After two weeks, Nintendo will then launch a special retro pack on September 25. The pack will include Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch. All three are compatible with “Super Smash Bros.” and will be sold as a bundle only.

After rumors of a GameStop amiibo event, the Retro-3 pack has been confirmed to be open for pre-orders on August 8. GameStop branches are set to open an hour early, so customers will have the chance to pre-order the amiibos, which is limited to one order per customer.

Back at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, Nintendo announced a September release for the three amiibos based on the customizable Mii Fighters from “Super Smash Bros.” The three amiibos will now be available in November but will be sold as a three-pack as well.

Nintendo is yet to release further details on the release of a second Mario amiibo for the 30th anniversary of “Super Mario Bros.” The second figure will be based on the color scheme of the first “Super Mario Bros.” which is red and brown instead of the modern red and blue.

As for the Falco amiibo, Nintendo still hasn’t provided any information on its release. The company said Falco would be available along with Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch in September. However, for now, Falco is listed for a “Holiday 2015” release on Nintendo’s website.
