Nikki Ferrell finally decided to break her silence regarding her split from Juan Pablo Galavis. "The Bachelor" star also admitted that she has no ill feelings toward her ex and claimed they both tried to make their relationship work.

Host Chris Harrison caught up with Nikki Ferrell on the red carpet during the Season 19 premiere of "The Bachelor" on Monday, Jan. 5. According to Just Jared, the reality star finally revealed what caused her split from Juan Pablo Galavis. It was reportedly not because they didn't love each other nor was there a lack of communication. Nikki claimed it "just ended because of a difference of lifestyle." The reality star claimed she found it "hard" to fit into Juan Pablo's lifestyle, her being a nurse in Kansas City and him living in Miami working in the entertainment industry.

Nikki revealed Juan Pablo even tried to make the relationship work. She claimed they both gave their relationship "a good try." According to US Weekly, Ferrell claimed they both "real-life tried not TV-tried," but in the end they split after realising they're" two different people." There was even "a point we said we love each other, like in a normal relationship," the 28-year-old said. But "at the end of the day, we have different priorities," Nikki added.

According to the publication, the pediatric nurse also admitted she would never be the number one priority in the soccer player's life. His daughter would always be the first and her the second.

Likewise, Nikki recalled she was not prepared for what's going to happen in the show and "being in the spotlight." However, she admitted she did feel happy at the end of the night after each "The Bachelor" episode. She told Harrison that she also wanted people to be happy for her. However, her happiness was supposedly misunderstood for many reasons since she and Juan Pablo Galavis weren't able to express their feelings well. She particularly admitted the latter as having the most problem in expressing his feelings.

According to US Weekly, the couple's "The Bachelor" episode ended without Juan Pablo telling Nikki I love you nor was there a proposal. The couple also tried to make their relationship work by joining VH1's "Couples Therapy." However, their relationship was apparently never meant to last.
