Some fans just can't get enough of their idols that they are willing to spend a lot on celebrity perfumes.

The most recent celebrity who just launched her perfume is Nicole Richie who is not just a reality star and designer, but also a perfume creator. According to Richie, her perfume was inspired from the layer of scent that her mother used to wear when she was a little kid. She compared it to a good mix of lotions and oils that is very familiar to Southern mums.

Nicole Richie sought help from Steve DeMercado of Fragrance Resources to come up with her newest product. It has notes of blackberry, Seville orange, roses, lilies of the valley, papyrus, sandalwood, cashmere woods to make it more sensual and a touch of vanilla.

The perfume will be sold and be made available around 2,000 department stores and other specialty shops all over US. This includes Nordstrom, Macy's and also international markets like in the UK and in Australia. They are already giving away some samples of scent strips and vials on every card.

Richie makes sure too that she taps the potential of the social networking sites to promote her perfume. She is set to launch her second pillar for the fragrances by August of 2013 along with her 2013 spring collection of clothes. Richie said that she is currently making her prints that would include the elements of cool wood in the various fashion accessories along with her cool and unique print designs.

Her next set of fashion products will focus on hair. She would like to try her hands on makeup too but she admits her not being an expert on it.
