Known for their song “Throw Sum Mo” featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug, the hip hop duo called Rae Sremmurd performed for their Carolina Union Activities Board spring concert on April 11. Prior to this, the duo reportedly requested for tacos among many others.

According to the official contract between the two parties as published by The Daily Tar Heel, Rae Sremmurd requested for two spicy crunch Doritos tacos from Taco Bell but CUAB denied the request for unknown reasons.

After this, Rae Sremmurd took to Twitter to tell their fans they still want some tacos. One tweet reads, Please bring Doritos tacos to tonight's show for @Jxmmi #UncChapelHill,” which was re-tweeted 156 times with 254 favorites.

CUAB also tweeted a photo of Taco Bell Doritos tacos with a caption, “Dont worry we hear y'all,” which one fan named Langston Taylor accused as “just a taco bell marketing scheme” in a tweet.

Composed of two brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd released their debut album “SremmLife” on Jan. 6. Their collaboration song with Minaj and Young Thug titled “Throw Sum Mo,” released on Dec. 9, 2014, peaked at number 33 at the Billboard Hot 100. Watch the music video here:
