Former Nickelodeon star, Victoria Justice is currently being overshadowed by Ariana Grande. Well, the "Victorious" star has plans to shine even brighter with a said collaboration with "Royals" singer Lorde. The brunette singer claims she's hoping to record music with the one and only New Zealand star.

After working on a tour with the boys of Big Time Rush, Victoria Justice has been pretty busy working with UGG for Australia.

"I've always been a really big UGG fan, ever since I was like, in middle school. And I agree with what this campaign is saying, UGG's feel like nothing else because it's true, there's nothing else out there like UGG. They're so comfortable and cozy, and they just make you feel good. At least they do for me [Laughs], they make me happy!" stated Victoria in an interview with the Latina.

Of course, the dreams of becoming the next big thing in the music industry continue for Justice. If Grande had her way in the limelight thanks to Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber and Nathan Sykes, Victoria is seeking aid in the form of collaborating with Lorde.

"I really love Lorde. And I just found out she's only 16! She's really cool. And to collaborate with her would be great, especially since she writes her own music and I write my own music. I really admire her because of that," stated Justice.

Hopefully, the flattery gets Victoria somewhere with Lorde. For one, the "Royals" singer is busy with her own career. As of late, the "Pure Heroine" singer had been named one of the "Most Influential Teens" plus had recently signed on to a million dollar deal. Lorde, Ella Yelich-O'Connor, signed on to Songs Music Publishing Inc. as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

"I didn't expect to be in this world but I think it's kind of cool," said Lorde in an interview with The Telegraph, adding, "For a long time pop has been this laughable, shameful thing."

"But it's actually gratifying and fun and can unite populations, which I think is incredibly powerful. So hopefully I am showing that pop can be taken seriously," continued Lorde.
