Talking about his new film "Equals," Nicholas Hoult claimed he enjoyed making the movie and also revealed he had a good time shooting scenes with his co-star and rumoured new girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

In an interview with Collider, Nicholas Hoult claimed filming the Drake Doremus movie was "one of the best experiences" he'd ever had on film. He credited the director (Doremus) for guiding him on his scenes and even for invoking all sorts of emotions while on set.

"In terms of my acting, it felt like the best experience in terms of him guiding me...He wants you to be vulnerable and he wants you to be honest," he said.

Speaking of emotions, it's rumoured that Nicholas Hoult has taken his fictional love interest for his "Equals" co-star Kristen Stewart to reality. The British actor even said in the interview that he feels "really inspired" working with the "Twilight" star every day. However, the actor has yet to comment on speculations that he and Stewart are in a relationship. Furthermore, his statement could just be an indication of how he truly loves Drake Doremus' style of filmmaking. After all, as the actor revealed, the director is "all about love stories and human connections." Movie producer Ann Ruark, in an interview with Variety, also labeled the movie as a Utopian type of love story. Nicholas Hoult likewise revealed he's seen some footage from the 2015 movie to confirm that it "evokes so much emotion."

While an official release date has yet to be announced, Nicholas Hoult was generous enough to share some details about the movie. "Equals" is said to be set in a futuristic world where humans (especially children) are genetically modified to not feel any emotions, including love. However, contracting a disease called Switched On Syndrome (SOS), Silas (Hoult) is sent into "the den" to face his death. That's where he meets Nia (Stewart). Soon Silas notices her and starts to feel unfamiliar emotions.

"It's that thing of awakening and then feeling too much, not being able to handle it, and wanting to try and get away from it," the actor said in his Collider interview.

However, outside of "Equals," the British actor and Kristen Stewart told Variety that they don't want to live in a world where emotions are not involved. Nicholas Hoult claimed he'd want to be able to feel everything, take the highs and the lows."
