Nexus 6 Release Date Will Intro Android 5.0 aka Lemon Meringue Pie with Killer Specs & Features

Google's Nexus 6 release date plans this 2014 appear to introduce a new pathway both for the tech giant's hardware and software thrust.

The same report 'confirmed' that Nexus 6 is no more as Nexus X will take the centre-stage come D-Day.

At the same time of the X arrival, the Android 5-era will begin and the software per earlier reports will get to its official sweet name as with the previous editions. Lemon Meringue Pie or LMP is the appointed flavour this time.

Whether the claims are true or not, since Google is unsurprisingly not saying a word on the matter, what counts for now are the impressive hardware details that the AnTuTu result has revealed.

In accordance with the Nexus tradition of bringing upscale components for the delight of hardcore Android, Google will surely not disappoint with the Nexus 6 or X. Per the AnTuTu benchmark, the stock Android device will boast of a quad-core Snapdragon chip that will hit a top-speed of 2.7GHz that is tapped to a generous 3GB of RAM.

The main man is a 13MP shooter that relies on 32GB of internal memory for clips and images it will produce.

The Nexus X will have a 2K display resolution though the actual screen size remains a toss between 5.9-inch and 5.2-inch.

As for the killer features, suffice it to say for now that Google promises a more optimal mobile device experience as hard-coded with the upcoming Android L that will become Android 5.0 or LMP once it becomes fully operational.

Owing to its high-end built and features, the Nexus 6 or X on release date will go live on Google Play Store with a $500 sticker price.
