Nexus 6 Price Slashed By $150 As Google Nexus 2015 Release Date Nears

Nexus 6, the first ever Nexus phablet from Google is now available with an exciting price cut of $150 on Motorola.com, Google, Amazon and Best Buy. Google was the first one to proclaim the $150 price cut on Nexus 6. Soon, other retailers like Amazon and Best Buy followed it.

The $150 discount is available on both 32 GB and 64 GB versions of the Nexus 6. The 32 GB storage version is now priced at $499 whereas the 64 GB variant is now available for $549.

The regular prices of both models are $649 and $699, respectively. Both the color variants of Nexus 6 namely, Midnight Blue and Cloud White are available on sale.

Compared to Nexus 6 deal offered by other retailers, Motorola’s offer carriers a slight advantage as an additional warranty of $130 is also available with the phablet, reports Phandroid. It covers accidental damages for up to two years.

One need to be aware of the fact that Motorola’s Nexus 6 deal will soon come to end on 10:59 am on June 23. However, other retailers and Google have not disclosed as to when the offer will expire.

Google Nexus 6 comes with a massive screen of 5.96-inch that supports Quad HD resolution. Like the Galaxy Note 4, it is also powered by Snapdragon. It is supported 3 GB of RAM It is the first ever smartphone to feature Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Nexus 6 is available in two storage versions of 32 GB and 64 GB. It is packed with 13 MP rear camera and 2 MP frontal camera. It houses a non-removable a 3,220 mAh battery.

The Google Nexus 6 is anticipated to get replaced by a successor model very soon. The rumor mill is currently referring to the purported device as Google Nexus 2015 and Google Nexus 5 2015

During the recently held Google I/O event, the forthcoming Android M OS was showcased. Rumors indicate that the next Nexus smartphone will be powered by Android M OS. However, there is no official confirmation from Google on the next generation Nexus smartphone
