Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop has been considered generally as the biggest update of the mobile OS yet. However, just like other Android updates, it came with its fair share of troubles. Android Lollipop's woes may be the reason why Google has started preparing another set of updates through the Android 5.1 and the Android 5.2.

The Lollipop series has been plagued with complaints including slow adoption rates. Even Nexus devices took quite some time before they ran on the latest Android mobile OS. This time, people may have to look forward to another set of updates as the Android 5.1 and Android 5.2 builds showed up on the latest Geekbench test. According to the leak, Google might be testing the two programs on the LG Nexus 5.

If people will look into Google’s history then it is a given that the Nexus line is always the first set of devices to receive the Android update. In this case, if Google decides to roll out the update this March then among the first in line include the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9. The HTC One M7 and One M8 series may also follow immediately as the company’s VP of product management, Mo Versi,

hints at a new launch this March. According to the tweet:

Android 5.1 has started seeding to Android One devices so it should be a matter of time before the update hits mainstream and standard devices like the Nexus and HTC series. As for what people can expect, AndroidPIT obtained information from unidentified sources about the Android 5.1's changelog:

· Silent mode added after missing on Android 5.0

· General improvements in system stability

· Improved RAM management

· Fixes for sudden app closures

· Improved battery management

· Excessive consumption of network devices when used Wi-Fi fixed

· Issues with wireless connections fixed

· Problems with Okay Google function solved

· Notifications problems solved

· Some sound problems experience by certain devices fixed

· Other improvements and changes

· Changes in the Material Design color palette (after users complaints, possibly for a higher version though)

There are no specific details for the Android 5.2 firmware yet. Google has not provided official details for both updates.
