South Korean mobile accessory manufacturer Spigen has started teasing the excited device enthusiasts with the shared image of the Neo Hybrid case for the much anticipated smartphone, the Google Nexus 5. The leaked image only showed the rear side of the smartphone case on the next generation Nexus 5 smartphone.

Precise details on the Nexus 5 smartphone design were not revealed in Spigen's teaser image but it suggests the upcoming device has been essentially based on the LG G2 device with impressive features and specs.

The Google Nexus 5 smarphone is expected to be officially announced on Tuesday, October 15, with the release date to trail afterwards. The new device is rumoured to feature a 5-inch Full 1080p HD screen display, the power of a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2300mAh battery, the first Android 4.4 KitKat integration and an available internal storage capacity of 16GB priced at $299 without a contract.

The latest rumours on the Google Nexus 5 release date claims that the shipping begins in late October. According to the Tech Radar report, the Nexus 5 will have a couple of comparable specs to the Apple iPhone 5S.

"However it's likely we'll see something similar to the the iPhone's 64-bit A7 processor. Apple kicked off an arms race with the 64-bit processor announcement and no doubt Google and Samsung will follow suit," the Tech Radar report reads. As for the price, the Google Nexus 5 is expected to have the similar pricing scheme that the Google Nexus 4 had.

The new Google device is estimated to have a price from $499 to $699 without the contract. A higher pricing scheme has been speculated as well if Google offers the device in the 64GB version.

The pricing update on the Tech Radar report reads: "We're now hearing that Nexus 5 16GB and 32GB option will be priced at $299 and $399, respectively. Strangely, word is that the 16GB model will have a 2,300mAh battery, whereas the 32GB version will have a 3,000mAh battery. Rumor is that they're both the same size and dimension, too."
