Xiaomi has apparently sent out invitations for its global smartphone event scheduled in New Delhi, India on April 23. As it turns out, an international variant of the 2014 flagship called “Xiaomi Mi 4i” will reportedly be introduced at the event. To top it off, this particular model has recently visited the GFXBench benchmark testing site, revealing key Xiaomi Mi 4i features.

Based on the GFXBench benchmark testing site, the Xiaomi Mi 4i will reportedly feature a pocket-friendly 4.9-inch display bundled with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. With respect to the hardware specification, the handset will apparently be powered by a hexa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615) processor, clocked at 1.6 GHz and the graphics arena will be taken care by the latest Adreno 405. Plus, the handset will come backed with 2 GB of RAM configuration.

On the software end, the handset apparently runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS straight out of the box, along with Xiaomi's MIUI v6 on top of it, notes Phone Arena. When it comes to the memory specification, the device is believed to come with 16 GB of internal storage capacity. However, there is no information available at this point to determine if the handset houses a microSD card.

As far as the camera specification goes, the Xiaomi Mi 4i will reportedly sport a good 12 MP rear-facing unit, in addition to a gracious 4.8 MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chats. And adding a cherry on top, this device will reportedly support 4G LTE connectivity.

Speaking of Xiaomi Mi 4i price, the phone will apparently set the buyers back within the ambit of $192 to $208 equivalent. In any case, readers should note that, the new international variant Xiaomi Mi 4i specifications are not in par with the original Mi 4 released in 2014, notes Phone Arena.

Even though, the event scheduled for April 23 is referred as a "global event," Xiaomi is still not ready to set up shops in the U.S. and Europe, says the same site. But then, the upcoming event in India apparently marks the debut of a first new handset of Xiaomi outside of home-country China. Nonetheless, readers should note that, the Chinese tech giant has not confirmed the Xiaomi Mi 4i specifications, release date, price and features thus far.
