The upcoming game, “Just Cause 3,” is geared to be more massive than the previous title. It will reportedly feature a very large map with different regions and will allow players to cause massive destruction. The new trailer for “Just Cause 3” details the game’s premise and story.

The trailer, seen below, was released by “Just Cause 3” developer Avalanche Studios. The game will see protagonist Rico Rodriguez as he travels around the Mediterranean island of Medici, which is currently under the iron fist rule of General Di Ravello. The trailer shows off some of the game’s characters, but the highlight remains on the massive open-world of the title.

True to its action theme, the trailer showcases how much destruction Rodriguez can cause. Similar in “Just Cause 2,” he could also take to the skies in the game, as one part of the trailer sees Rodriguez freefalling to the island of Medici.

The regions in the island of Medici are seen in the trailer. The video features the wealthy towns in the first region, the military bases in the second region and the heavily forested areas in the third region. All of these make up for a map that measures approximately 400 square miles in-game.

“Just Cause 3” will hit shelves on Dec. 1 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Gamespot reports that the title has gone gold recently. This means that Avalanche Studios has completely finished the game ahead of its launch date. The announcement was made via a tweet by Avalanche Studios CEO Christopher Sunberg.

Although the game is complete, Avalanche Studios is still hard-pressed at working on its downloadable content (DLC). What players could expect on launch day is a smooth playthrough of “Just Cause 3,” though there could be minor issues at hand.
