Samsung appears intent on putting out as many device options as possible as details about a SM-Z130H device pop up. According to the latest information, the device may sport a Tizen OS 2.3 version along with 480 display. Is it worth the wait?

Samsung is best known for having a multitude of devices under its name. It often offers more than two editions of its flagship along with other more types targeting different consumer markets. While this allows the company to explore as many opportunities as possible, in-house differentiation is also a problem according to analysts. The Korean tech giant does not seem to mind as more details about Samsung SM-Z130H surface. According to GSM Arena, the device may ship with a 1.2GHz CPU based on the ARMv7 architecture (most likely with a quad-core Cortex-A7 plus Snapdragon 400 platform) and Tizen OS 2.3.

SamMobile confirmed the Tizen 2.3 two months ago via an exclusive report. Likewise, the site also revealed specs like FM radio support and dual SIM slots. The user agent profile did not specific the category of the device but it appears to be low-end.

According to GSM Arena, the phone's screen will be around 4 inches offering 480p resolution. It also comes with 288ppi for pixel density hinting an entry-level device more than a premium one. Reports also noted that the upcoming unit may come with a 3.2MP camera plus 512MB RAM.

Nonetheless, Samsung's website already listed the phone supporting the release to be just around the corner. There may still be some delays as with Samsung previous releases. To check the listing click here.

More options mean more potential sales but analysts emphasize Samsung's need to not just innovate but also focus. Xiaomi has not released as many devices similar to Apple and they have both been reaping the benefits of a smaller group of devices. According to experts, it may be a good option to consider focusing on a specific market or product line than releasing as many possibly confusing consumers.
