The “Meizu M2 Note” is the new entrant among the slew of budget-friendly smartphones available in the U.S. Readers, looking for an inexpensive handset with the latest operating system on board, can consider buying this amazing device. Notably, this device comes packed with flagship-level configurations (dominated in 2014), at a dirt cheap price.

As far as the key Meizu M2 Note specifications go, the device reportedly comes with a large 5.5-inch display, aided by 1080p screen resolution. Also, the brightness level and contrast ratio stand at 450 nits and 1000:1, respectively. Speaking of design, Meizu has apparently used polycarbonate unibody and magnesium alloy frame for the exterior, guaranteeing a premium look. To top it off, the smartphone also comes in a bunch of pastel colours, according to Phone Arena.

Under the hood, the Meizu M2 Note comes powered by a 64-bit, octa-core (MediaTek MT6753) processor and backed by a solid 2 GB of RAM unit. On the software front, the device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.

Moving on to the camera specification, the Meizu M2 Note apparently sports an impressive 13 MP rear-facing unit, along with dual-LED flash. In addition, there is also a killer 5 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. Apart from the standard connectivity options, this Meizu handset also supports 4G LTE with dual-SIM, dual-standby capability on board. If these configurations are not good enough for a budget-friendly phone, there’s also a staggering 3,100 mAh battery unit to keep the lights on for a longer period of time.

Furthermore, interested readers can preorder this device from the credible Chinese e-retailer sites Panda Will and Gear Best. However, it is worth noting that, the site “Gear Best” offers the Meizu M2 Note at a price of $173.99, along with a M2NOTE discount coupon. By utilising this coupon, the M2 Note’s price will be reduced further, notes Phone Arena. Plus, the preordered device will apparently be shipped on July 5. But then, at this point, the handset can only be availed in gray hue. On the other hand, the site “Panda Will” offers the Meizu M2 Note for $199.99 and the device will be shipped starting July 1 onwards. In any case, readers should note that, IBTimes AU does not endorse any brands.
